Temperature Variation Tests are conducted on airborne equipment and instrument to verify their functional properties during normal temperature variations between high and low temperature extremes during flights.

This is a dynamic test in accordance with RTCA/DO-160 Section 5, and it is required that equipment be tested to such requirements before they are certified.
